Young birds sleep a lot. Please allow your bird this time with periods when it will not be held. In its new environment, a bird can often take a while to find its

food and to realize it is ok to eat without its clutch mates. Take extra caution to make sure your bird is eating! It can be a good idea to have a heat lamp for

your bird to sleep under for at least the first few weeks.

This is a live animal. By signing this form you agree that it was healthy and active when it left our facility and that you have read this form in its entirety. No

returns, refunds or rebates will be given.

Because only an AVIAN VETERINARIAN can detect some health conditions, we encourage you to have the bird(s) examined by an ACCREDITED AVIAN

VETERINARIAN of your choice within three days (72 hours) from purchase at your expense. If your avian veterinarian determines the bird(s) to have a major

pre-existing health problem limited to disease or birth defect, please return the bird(s), along with the veterinarian's statement to us immediately. ANY

LABORATORY TESTS THE VET MAY DO MUST BE PERFORMED WITHIN THE (72 HOUR) PERIOD FOR THE BIRD(S) TO BE COVERED UNDER THIS

GUARANTEE. THE BREEDER DOES NOT ASSUME LIABILITY FOR ANY VETERINARY EXPENSES INCURRED.

In the event that your bird(s) die within the first (72 hours) of purchase, an ACCREDITED AVIAN VET must perform a NECROPSY to determine the

cause of death. THE NECROPSY REPORT AND THE UNCUT LEG BAND FROM THE BIRD, MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE BREEDER WITHIN 5 (FIVE) DAYS. In

the case of and ONLY if the bird was never banded and hatch certificate records no band, then the necropsy report must be accompanied by a clear, close up

photo of the deceased bird with the vet in the picture. Photo must be submitted to aviary AND buyer must receive word back from aviary that photo will be

accepted as proof BEFORE performing necropsy for guarantee to be valid.

If pre-existing health problems that would cause death to the bird are found and verified by an avian vet and all requirements are met, at the breeders

discretion, bird(s) will be replaced with one of equal value when one becomes available or return the purchase price paid for the bird(s).

* Due to the fact that we can¡¯t control the environment your bird is moving to, what it will be fed, or how it is interacted with, we cannot guarantee its health

once it leaves us. As with any living animal, fear, loss of appetite, lack of sleep, chilling, heat prostration and other forms of stress can make a bird susceptible

to illness, which can potentially cause diarrhea, respiratory infection, and a variety of other illnesses. EXPOSURE TO OTHER BIRDS OR CIGARETTE SMOKE

AND OTHER TOXINS CAN RAPIDLY DETERIORATE A BIRDS HEALTH. Due to the proceeding reasons, the guarantee only extends to (72 hours.)

IF YOU FAIL TO, OR CHOSE NOT TO, TAKE YOUR BIRD(S) FOR A "WELL BIRD EXAM" BY AN ACCREDITED AVIAN VET WITHIN 72 HOURS OF PURCHASE,

THEN THIS GUARANTEE IS NULL AND VOID.

You agree that we explained wing clipping to you and when you took the bird the wings were clipped according to your instructions and to your satisfaction.

Although we expect you will be a good parent and the bird will live for many years, you agree to hold us harmless for any accident, incident, circumstance or

problem that may result in injury or death. No warranty is expressed or implied in the case of injury caused by the bird, or to the bird, or other pets or humans

in the household. No refunds will be given for any other reason.
