Institute for Healthcare ImprovementPosition SummaryMarketing ManagerThe Institute for Healthcare Improvement () is an independent not-for-profit organization that works with health care providers and leaders throughout the world to achieve safe and effective health care. IHI focuses on motivating and building the will for change, identifying and testing new models of care in partnership with both patients and health care professionals, and ensuring the broadest possible adoption of best practices and effective innovations. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, IHI mobilizes teams, organizations, and increasingly nations, through its staff of more than 100 people and partnerships with hundreds of faculty around the world.Position Summary:In concert with project teams, create and manage the execution of marketing plans to achieve program-specific enrollment and revenue targets.Position Responsibilities: Develop and execute marketing plans which are typically focused on program enrollments. Tactics include:Conducting analysis of similar offerings at other organizations,Producing collateral material,Utilizing social media,Generating and administering blast emails,Building and updating timely, complete, and compelling web content,Creating and placing advertising,Tracking progress and recommending/implementing contingency plans as needed.Continually seek to improve marketing strategies and tactics through an ongoing exploration and importation of creative ideas.Evaluate the results of each program marketing effort and incorporate lessons learned in all subsequent plans and programs.Oversee the marketing budgets for assigned programs.Optimize cross-selling opportunities to ensure that assigned programs are effectively promoted at all IHI programs. Lead strategic marketing projects as assigned.Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong acumen for marketing strategies and executionExcellent organizational and project management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExtremely strong writing skillsProficiency with office systems and computers, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
