[Pages:1]Announcement: The Department of Contracts and Grants (DCG) would like to wish you a happy upcoming Independence Day! To prepare for the July 4th holiday, below are some important dates and reminders regarding upcoming proposal submissions.

DCG will be closed on Monday, July 3rd and Tuesday, July 4th and will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, July 5th. Principal Investigators and Department Administrators should be mindful of this closure when planning the submission of:

Proposals with deadlines that fall on either of these dates (NIH U01's for example). Post-award actions such as no-cost extensions, prior approval requests for equipment

purchases, etc.

It is critical that all researchers and research administrators allow sufficient time to review and submit proposals and award actions prior to next week's holiday.
