Collin College's Electrical program builds on foundational construction principles and basic electrical theory to teach the National Electrical Code, residential wiring, industrial wiring, and commercial wiring.

About Collin College's Program

Students participating in Collin College's Electrical program can apply classroom hours towards their State of Texas apprenticeship requirements. Completion of the program can lead to an accelerated pathway towards the State of Texas Journeyman's licensure or other electrical certifications. The program also provides the opportunity to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree for career advancement.
