#197-20: ADOPT AN ANNUAL APPROPRIATION MEASURE FOR

JULY 1, 2020 – JUNE 30, 2021.

Mrs. Woodyard moved and Mr. Good seconded the motion to adopt an annual appropriation measure for July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021.

WHEREAS it is necessary to adopt an appropriations measure for July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021 by fund.

WHEREAS an accurate certificate of estimated resources has been received from the County Auditor.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that under the provisions

of ORC 5705.38 the annual appropriations measure as hereto attached for the current fiscal year is hereby adopted; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that this annual appropriations measure shall be prepared and distributed by the treasurer in such form as the Auditor of State prescribes.

WHEREAS the gift herein described has been unconditionally offered to

the Tri-County North Local School District

WHEREAS the Board has the statutory authorization to accept such

gifts, providing such acceptance does not remove any portion of the

public school from the control of the Board,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED under the provisions of

ORC 3313.47 the Board hereby accepts the gift; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Board is appreciative of the

generosity of this gift and the remembrance of this school district and the

students.

WHEREAS upon the recommendation of the Local Superintendent of

Schools, the following certificated personnel recommendation is made; and

WHEREAS ORC 3319.07 and 3319.08 provide for the employment of

certificated persons for supplemental duties; and

WHEREAS the certificated persons listed below are acceptable to the

administration for the supplemental contract duty specified.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that under the provisions of

ORC 3319.07 and 3319.08 the following employment action is taken.

WHEREAS UPON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE Superintendent, the following recommendation for employment of certificated personnel is made; and

WHEREAS to prepare for temporary absences of certificated personnel as needed to provide educational services for students; and

WHEREAS ORC 3319.10 grants authority for the Board to employ eligible personnel on such a temporary, as needed, on call substitute basis.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that under the provisions of

ORC 3310.19 the following employment action is taken.

WHEREAS the following certificated current and regular employees meet the

qualifications necessary to perform required or needed extended school year

services.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that under the provisions of ORC

3319.08 the following person be employed for the 2020-2021 school year on

an extended service contract for the program as indicated.

Mrs. Woodyard moved and Mr. Schaar seconded the motion to employ Jo Ellen Hickey as classified substitute personnel for the 2020-2021 school year.

WHEREAS to prepare for temporary absences of non-teaching personnel for

whom substitutes may be needed to provide support services in conjunction

with the management and control of the school; and

WHEREAS ORC 3313.47, grants authority for the Board of Education to

employ personnel on such a temporary, as needed, substitute basis

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that under the provisions of

ORC 3313.47, the following employment action is taken and such names

shall be listed on an approved list of substitute personnel.

Mrs. Woodyard moved and Mr. Good seconded the motion to approve employment of classified extra-curricular personnel for the 2020-2021 school year.

WHEREAS the following extra-curricular positions have been offered to the

certificated employees of this school district with no acceptable responses;

and,

WHEREAS the following extra-curricular positions have been offered to or

advertised to attract certificated persons not currently employed by this school

district with no acceptable responses; and

WHEREAS the non-certified individual(s) herein recommended have been

determined to meet the standard adopted by the State Board.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that under the provisions of

ORC 3313.53 the following persons are employed for the 2020-2021 school

year at the same salary offered to certified persons for pupil activity program

as indicated.
