Important Senior Center Updates

New Masking & Vaccination Verification Information

With Los Angeles County now in the low community risk level, guidelines for masking and vaccine verification have been updated. The City of Culver City is aligned with the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department's requirements for masking. Indoor masking is now strongly recommended, but not required, for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals in public settings and businesses. This includes City facilities and the Culver City Senior Center. In addition, the City Council decided at its meeting on March 14, 2022 to rescind the City 's COVID-19 vaccine verification requirements.

Please note that vaccination against COVID-19 is still required to become a member of the Culver City Senior Citizens Association Inc. (CCSCA) and therefore is required to participate in CCSCA classes, events and programs at the Culver City Senior Center.

Public Health encourages residents to assess their personal and family risks when deciding whether to wear a mask. In deciding, individuals should consider: ? Are there individuals in the household who have underlying health conditions that create

elevated risk for severe illness from COVID? ? Are there unvaccinated family members in the household including young children not yet

eligible for vaccines? ? Does anyone in the household work in a setting with vulnerable individuals at elevated risk

of severe illness from COVID?
