The Lodges of the Big Horns are four special properties in the magnificent Bighorn Mountains and Bighorn National Forest. These lodges and cabins are located on U.S. Highway 16 between two quaint and historic Wyoming towns, Buffalo & Ten Sleep. In addition to the Lodges, the offering includes two high quality deeded land parcels. The first is a very private 3,187 deeded acre tract high in the Bighorn Mountain back country. With spectacular scenery, privacy, and abundant wildlife. This land is currently utilized for exclusive trophy big game hunting operated by South Fork Mountain Outfitters.

The Lodges and deeded parcel are offered as one package, giving the new owner the chance to control all of the recreation properties in the southern end of the Bighorn Mountains.

Lodges of the Bighorns

The Lodges of the Bighorns are operated on National Forest lands under a special use permit from the Bighorn National Forest. These properties represent the only lodging and recreational venues between Buffalo and Ten Sleep. As a major route between the mid-western states and Yellowstone National Park, the highway between Buffalo and Ten Sleep attracts tourists from around the world. Each of these lodge properties have their own charm, amenities, and recreational opportunities.

Meadowlark Ski Resort

Meadowlark Ski Resort is located about 20 miles east of Ten Sleep and easily accessible from most of northern Wyoming. The ski area offers two lifts to approximately 200 acres of skiable terrain, the variety of runs offers something for everyone. The elevation at the lodge is 8500' and 9200' at the top of the slopes. Compared to other ski areas in northern Wyoming, elevation at Meadowlark offers more snow and the best ski conditions in the region. As a result Meadowlark Ski Resort is able to operate December through April, and some years longer.
