Remote Access to the Trinity Connect Portal

Instructions for Non-Trinity Owned, Non-SFHAD Computers

Login This document shows how to remotely access the Trinity Health TogetherCare applications via the Trinity Connect

Portal.

IMPORTANT: These instructions are specifically for computers that are not managed by Trinity Health, i.e. users do not log in to the Trinity Health domain. If you do log in to the Trinity Health domain with your computer or laptop, stop and follow instructions for Trinity Health devices at helpmeconnect.

These instructions were written specifically for Internet Explorer 11. NOTE: There have been issues with Microsoft Edge and therefore, MS Edge is not recommended. In addition to Internet Explorer, you may also use Google Chrome or Firefox.

Launch Citrix Applications WHEN AWAY FROM THE OFFICE

The instructions below illustrate how-to log on to the Connect Portal using either the mobile app or phone call option to authenticate when not connected to the corporate network.

1. Click on the link below or copy and paste into your browser. Save as a Favorites bookmark or create a desktop shortcut for future use.



2. The Welcome to Connect page will display and "Checking Your Device" will launch.

NOTE: The first time you access the Connect Portal, you will need to download the NetScaler Gateway Endpoint Analysis plug-in. If you have already done this, proceed to Step 7.

3. On the Welcome to Connect page, click the "Download" button.

4. Click "Run" or "Open" when prompted. This will install the NetScaler Gateway Endpoint Analysis plug-in (EPA). Once the plug-in installation completes, the NetScaler login screen will appear.

5. Select Yes when prompted to "Allow this app to make changes to your device?" and Click "Install" on the License Agreement window. When complete click "Finish" to exit the setup wizard.

6. If prompted again with the Internet Explorer Security pop up, select the check box next to "Do not show me the warning for this program again, then select Allow.

7. The default web browser opens Citrix NetScaler Gateway and prompts to run a required scan; click Always.

Note: This prompt may stop appearing after logging in on the same computer for several days. This is normal.

8. Enter your username, password, then for Domain, select Trinity-Health from the drop-down. 9. Click Log On.

If you set up MFA with phone call option: Answer the (855) phone call; listen to the message and when prompted, press the # key to approve

If you set up MFA with the mobile application option: Open the (Microsoft Authenticator) mobile app. Tap Approve.

10. Successful log on loads the Trinity Health (portal) homepage in the web browser. Launch any Citrix application published to you from within this Connect Portal window

11. If prompted with this message, select the check box next to "Do not show me the warning for this program again" then click on "Allow."
