Introduction: This document provides examples of accessible tagline statements that can be used to inform program participants how they can request an accommodation or make their needs known. Including tagline statements on event announcements and communications are a great way to create an inclusive and accessible experience for program participants. Disability-Accommodation Request Tagline Examples: “(UW-Madison/College/School/Department/Program) is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event. If you need a reasonable accommodation to attend this event, please contact (name, event host/coordinator) at (phone number/email). All reasonable accommodation requests should be made no less than (insert number here) weeks before the event.
