JOB FUNCTION/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Responsible for the direct oversight and daily activities of the Case Managers on the team. Ensure that quality and quantity of case work and record of staff is in compliance with documentation standards established by the agency and funding source.

Oversee casework services performed by Case Managers; collaborates with HUD Operations Staff/Supervisor to provide support of housing services provided to scatter site residents/dwellings.

Conducts weekly clinical supervision with direct reports/staff; formulating routine in-service training programs and staff development activities for added support.

Responsible for performance evaluations; as well as curriculum development for ongoing professional development needs.

Reviews case records/charts for accuracy, consistency, and conformity with funder regulations and policies; and for quality of clinical case management and application of proper clinical case management techniques.

Responsible for creating and working within a team environment to ensure all HUD staff are knowledgeable and familiar with HUD contract expectations, case management, and supervisorial expectations; and ensures all staff are delivering high quality care.

Conducts staff meetings to interpret and discuss new policies, procedures and regulations, and to discuss need for improvement of clinical case management techniques; performs screen, intake, and assessment of entering clients for HUD program, as well as conference.

Performs field work as required, leads crisis interventions, and establishes rapport with inside/outside resources to ensure high quality clinical service provision.
