Dear Faculty, Students, Alumni and Friends of Empire State College,

Please accept the congratulations of the United Nations Association of Rochester Board of Directors on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of Empire State College. It has been our privilege and pleasure to work closely with the faculty and staff here in the Genesee Valley Center.

During the last few years UNAR has collaborated with ESC to bring to the Rochester area lectures and programs that are timely, unique and often international. The Monroe County region is privileged to have the broad and diverse topics you have been willing to bring to the public.

This reception and celebration goes further in representing the development

of local citizens who can bring music and other arts to focus on International Fiber Arts, an ancient skill. As we celebrate this important and unparalleled educational program in our community we must not take ESC for granted.

Thank you for reaching out into the public areas of our region and including UNAR in your planning and programming.

Sincerely,

Richard Sarkis, ‘78 President

Margaret Corbin, ‘72 VP Programs

.
