Applications are due Sept. 20, 2019, for consideration. Details are online at in June 2019 in conjunction with the Women of Achievement Awards, Women Lead Change is proud to support the non-profit organizations and initiatives across the state that are developing the next generations of great women leaders.Qualifying non-profits must boast missions that ensure that all girls (K-8) have an opportunity to gain critical skills that will support their growth as women leaders including:Inspiring girls to recognize their inner strengthCelebrating all the characteristics that make each girl one of a kindSparking the interest and confidence in girls to pursue studies and careers in traditionally male-dominated fieldsEmpowering girls of all ages through mentorshipThe Fund is distributed through the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
