Purpose of the position:

Responsible for proper use, maintenance, fuel control for project vehicles the car, and the safe transportation of all passengers and project assets and supplies being transported.

Major Responsibilities:

| |Transport project documents, assets and supplies as requested from the provincial office to the districts and the reverse. |15 |

| |Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, with a daily inspection of water levels and oil, air pressure in tires, lighting and |10 |

| |signaling devices, etc. Ensure that vehicle is cleaned inside and outside on a regular basis. Maintain (and protect against| |

| |loss) all equipment received with the vehicle and ensure that vehicle is parked in a safe manner in accordance with the | |

| |safety regulations of the Organization. | |

| |Report any abnormality, damage or accident to the program manager or his substitute in case of their absence, following the|5 |

| |rules and procedures of the WV. | |

| |Fill all information needed in the Log book of the car every day when using the car. |10 |

| |Evaluate the fuel expenses according to the distance traveled and deliver a monthly report to the supervisor. | |

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

• Grade 10 completed

• Proven experience in an equivalent position, including safe driving (including in rural areas with sub optimal road conditions) and maintenance of vehicle, and control of fuel use

• Good communication skills in Portuguese and local languages

• Christian maturity, demonstrate and encourage the values of World Vision

Working Environment / Conditions:

Ability to work under pressure

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

Basic level of education or equivalent

Possess valid driving license

Experience in driving vehicles with four-wheel

Have knowledge of mechanics

Write and speak fluent Portuguese
