Targeted Candidates

The test is mandatory for all grade 12 students

UAE nationals, in all public and private schools

(Ministry of Education curriculum and

international private curriculum)

Non-Emirati students from private schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education curriculum

Emiratis applying for scholarships abroad

Emiratis and non-Emiratis studying in government continuing education centers

All UAE nationals and non-nationals wishing to complete their studies at a public or private universities in the UAE are required to take the EmSAT as well.

From national service students and applicants to military colleges

Late students will not be allowed to enter the

test centers after 30 minutes of starting the test, and the absence is recorded for this test.

Absence Policy

If for some reason the student cannot attend any of the EmSAT tests, he / she will not be allowed to register again except in exceptional cases (illness, family emergency). The student must submit a retest request to the National and International Examinations Department, explaining the reason for his absence in detail and attaching a medical report issued by a government hospital and certified by the Ministry of Health. Accordingly, the student will be reviewed and informed of the test date assigned to him only if the excuse is approved and the condition applies.

Cheating Policy

If a student cheats or attempts to cheat, his score will not be counted and will be prohibited from taking the Emirates Standard Test for one year.

Certificate Falsification Policy

In case the student attempts to falsify the scores in the EMSAT certificate, his score will not be counted from the test and the case will be referred to the Legal Affairs Department to take the necessary action.
