Rules for Preparing English Papers and Supply List
1. Use only white loose-leaf notebook paper. Do not use spiral.
2. Use only dark blue or black ink.
3. Use the following heading on all your papers at the very top of the page next to the left margin line:
First and last name
Date
Period
4. Put page and exercise numbers on the first line of your paper.
5. Number questions whenever appropriate.
6. Do not scratch out or write over a word or letter. Mark out errors with only one straight line. (example: leni line)
7. Prepare papers neatly and legibly. Don’t draw or write anything unnecessary on your paper.
8. Do your own work. Cheating, copying and colluding without teacher approval will have consequences. If you choose to share your work, you will share the grade or receive a zero, at teacher discretion.
Five points will be deducted for each one of these rules not followed.
