PERFECT ATTENDANCE - Please put a note in with your attendance cards every Friday morning when your class has had perfect attendance for the week. Three weeks of Perfect Attendance equals one hour of planning time for you and an ice cream treat for students!

Math Updates-The Princeton review is now CORE K12 and the new website is . Please save this website so you can enter your students’ quarterly math scores if necessary. For information, research, and updates about math instruction, visit and the new MIG is aligned with the enVision math series and is available for download at 4th and 5th grade students must use answer sheets for quarterly assessments-do not allow students to write in test booklets.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Join the newest Educational Administration Program in the Charter College of Education at California State University, Los Angeles. This ONE-YEAR Program with final assessment is designed for aspiring administrators who have at least two years of successful teaching experience with CA Professional Clear teaching credentials. One of the special features of the Program is the intertwined curriculum for both degrees and service credentials.

Upon successful completion of the program, candidates receive a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration and the California Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. You get both the MA degree and the credential all at once. You will start the program in Fall 2010 and complete it in Fall 2011. There are two scheduled information meetings for your convenience. You only need to attend one.

The FEDCO Charitable Foundation is offering a grant to K/12 teachers. Grants range from $500 to $1,000 per teacher. Teachers may apply individually or collaborate with multiple teachers to submit a joint application for a grant award of up to $2000. The deadline to apply is October 16, 2009.
