EPA Section 608 ? Universal HVAC Refrigerant Certification

This course is designed to prepare students for the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Section 608 Certification exam by providing the required knowledge for handling and purchasing regulated refrigerants used by HVAC installers and technicians in residential and commercial projects.

The course will cover the following topics: ? Safety & Regulatory ? Systems & Processes ? Proper Use of Tools & Equipment ? Shipping, Handling, & Storing Refrigerant ? Installation, Repair, & Recovery Requirements & Techniques ? And More!

Upon completion of the training program, students must take and pass a proctored multiple-choice exam. Students scoring 70% or higher will be issued their certification.

Students are required to present a valid photo ID and maintain 100% attendance throughout the course.

Classes will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:00pm-8:00pm in the Jeff Tech HVAC classroom.
