Epic Reading App

Dear Parent,

As a school we have registered your child with the online app ‘Epic’. This is a great App for either Android or Apple as it allows your child access to many ebooks covering a wide range of reading levels.

Instructions

Please check your email (Personal and/or Work). You should have received an email from Epic. Please open the email and click the ‘connect now’ link in your email.

• Please download the Epic App onto your device

• Open the Epic App and click on ‘Have an Account? Sign In’

• Click on ‘Students and Educators’

• Enter the student login (Please see details of your class login below)

• Find your child’s name from the list and click on it.

• Click on the AR button along the menu at the top

• You can change the AR level to suit your child’s individual reading level. (Pupils in P4-P7 should know which level they are reading on the Accelerated Reading Programme) (Those pupils in P2 and P3 should select the lowest AR level and work their way up to find the level of books which are most similar to their current reading book from school)

• To log out click on your child avatar at the bottom of the screen and then click on switch profile to allow another child in your house to use it.
