Arizona National scholarships provide financial assistance to college and university students pursuing an undergraduate

degree who have demonstrated an interest in agriculture. The number of the scholarships and amounts awarded annually

vary depending on available funds and number of applicants.

Application Deadline: March 15

Application Paperwork:

1) Application and attachments must be typed.

Handwritten applications will not be accepted.

2) It is preferred that applications be sent as a PDF to

information@. Physical copies may also be

submitted, IN ONE PACKET, to the Arizona National

Livestock Show Office. The following items need to be

included (if digitally, in the following order):

a. A signed, completed application

b. Responses to questions 1-5 (see page 2).

c. Three original Letters of Recommendation dated in

current semester. (It is permissible for the letter

writer to send the letter directly to the Arizona

National office).

d. Verification of attendance for current semester.

e. Official Transcripts are required from your CURRENT

college/university. Unofficial transcripts are

required from all PAST institutions where college

credit was received.

i. Digital copy (preferred), have your

college/university send the PDF/link directly to

information@ OR

ii. Physical copy, send current, unopened Official

Transcripts to the address above. Unofficial

transcripts (from previous institutions) may be

printed and submitted with your application.

Eligibility:

1) High School graduate.

2) Twelve credit hours completed after high school

graduation and prior to applying.

3) Currently taking at least twelve credit hours at a

college or university.

4) Will be an undergraduate student in the upcoming

fall semester.

5) Maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA (A=4)

6) Pursuing an undergraduate degree.

7) Demonstrate an interest in agriculture.

8) Participation in the Arizona National Livestock

Show or Arizona National Horse Show as an

exhibitor, volunteer or contestant. Please note:

More than one year of participation is required for

eligibility.

9) Complete application and ALL application

components submitted to the Arizona National

Office on or before deadline OR postmarked by

March 15.

Incomplete applications or applications received after

the due date will not be reviewed.
