2:00 ish Shuttle drives to lunch and afternoon activities as agreed on by the shuttle riders.

Afternoon free to relax, visit Sage Lodge for lunch or massage, go hiking, etc.

Note: Pack a sack lunch for outing tomorrow.

Thursday, September 19--Field trip to Sage Mountain Center

(Rain or shine. Bring light backpack with hat, rain coat, water, sack lunch, snacks)

8:00 am Shuttle riders and car drivers meet in front of Livingston Econolodge motel for

ride to Sage Mountain Center (79 Sage Mountain Tr., Whitehall, MT 59759) and

carpooling.

9:45-10:00 Arrive at Sage Mountain Center

Gather for guided tour of off-grid solar electricity, lithium ion battery storage, solar

hot water, wind generation, organic gardens, large labyrinth, dry (composting)

toilets, year-round greenhouse, and straw bale/cordwood building technologies.

Tour begins

Noon

Sack lunch on the property--outside or inside

1:00 pm Gather for guided tour of the moderate 2-mile trail system featuring spectacular

views, safe and well-marked paths, 300' elevation gain, the Boulder Batholith,

and The Wall.

3:15 ish Tour ends. Time to walk labyrinth or any other exploring

Head back to Bozeman or Livingston for dinner

Friday, September 20

6:45 am Meet shuttle in front of Livingston Econolodge for ride to Livingston sanctuary

7:00-10:00 Sanctuary open to participate in remote morning broadcast

Brunch at local restaurant or on your own

Free time to enjoy Livingston

2:40 pm Meet shuttle at place pre-arranged individually with shuttle driver. Drive to David

and Mona's property

be attempted; however, not guaranteed. There will be no Spanish translation.)
