He was a student and was currently in his Junior year of high school. Travis was born on August 24, 1994, in Salina, KS, the son of Jon H. and Deborah A. “Dee” Cogburn. He has lived most of his life in McPherson and attended the local schools. Travis was a loving kid with a BIG heart. When he loved, he loved with everything he had. He would befriend anyone and would always take the time to say hello to any person he met. He was also the best uncle that any little boy could ask for. Jayden was Travis’s little shadow, and Travis never once turned down the chance to spend time and play with him. He was also known for his outgoing and fearless personality. His love and talent with music and art came naturally to him. He was quick to learn a new song on the piano or the guitar. Travis spent endless hours jumping on the trampoline in the back yard. His dream car was the ‘67 Ford Mustang Fastback. He was so happy the first day he got his first car. Dear Travis James Buck, why did you have to go..?We all miss you here, that wasn't your last show..You were so lively and happy,or so I actually thought..Those thoughts you had,I could not have easily caught..I wish I could have helped, and maybe you would have stayed..But now you're completely gone, and your body has been layed..Your funeral is today, and I am sorry I cannot show..But more than a hundred people, will still be able to go..I hope you are out of painand there is no hate toward you.We just miss you dearly, and we love you dearly, too..I wish I could have seen you, just one last single time..So I'll end this little poem, with one last single rhyme.Travis James Buck, your time had too early been ceased..So now that you have left,Please..
