Armada AmVets—Statement in Applicant’s own Handwriting telling about himself or herself, the career they have chose, how they have prepared for that career, the school they selected, etc.

Armada Firefighter’s—Personal resume listing achievements, honors, awards, clubs, extra curricular activities, community activities and work experience. ALSO, a one page (about 250 words) explaining the reasons for your course of study. You may mention individuals who have played a key role in your decision or an event or incident that may have influenced your choice.

Armada Common Scholarship—Describe an intrinsically “Armada Moment” in your life and discuss how being in the Armada environment (small town, rural area, values, etc.) will prepare you for college.

Southeastern Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police—Explain why you feel you should be awarded the Southeasterm Michigan association of Chiefs of police scholarship. The paper should review your school and community activities during the past four years. You should state your future educational and career goals as well as your current financial needs.

Richmond Sportsman’s Club—Typewritten essay including your long and short term goals, how you plan to help benefit conservation, wildlife management, or the environment. Include what influenced your choice of career

Armada Lioness—“How have you been of service to others during your high school career?” Explain how voluntary service to others has impacted on your personal growth.

Armada Agricultural Society—Explain your personal goals for the future, how this scholarship might help you achieve those goals, how your education will help your community and why you think you are uniquely qualified to receive this scholarship.

Belle River Credit Union—Describe any other special involvement or circumstances not covered in the application that you would like considered when your app is deliberated.

Gustafson Grant—How have you specifically had a positive impact on the quality of life for other living beings—a child, children, an elderly person or persons, animals, etc.? How will you build on that experience in the future? Write about one or more experiences you have had that has improved the quality of a life.

Gregory Goike Memorial—Describe the person or event that inspired or encouraged you to go into your field.

Lakeshore Striders—Write a summary of 300 words or less describing your high school cross country participation. Include your goals, achievements, awards, proudest moments and your future running plans.

Russell Ligon Engineering Scholarship: Short answer essay questions—describe: proudest achievement, favorite teacher (why?), why did you choose your college, why are you going into engineering or computer science, describe your study habits, college activities you plan to participate in, career goals, personal goals, what role does God play in your life now and in the future?

Michigan State Troopers—Essay outling accomplishments and community involvement that demonstrates leadership and has a positive impact

Skandalaris—Detail your life story, goals, aspirations and plans for the future

O’Leary Heide Family—Essay—500 words—What was the best day of your life? Why?

Van Hollenbeck—Demonstrate a hardship which could otherwise prevent you from attending college

Victoria Hill—Essay—500 words—Explain your philosophy of teaching. You may include the characteristics of a good teacher, why you would like to become a teacher, include how you learned an important lesson from someone even if that person wasn’t a formal teacher. Try to define the essence of teaching through examples from your life.
