Essential Question 1 – What happened to cause the Great Depression?

1. Develop a set of notes on each of the causes (listed below) of the Great Depression using the textbook. Remember that notes focus on importance and main ideas but some facts are needed to show the importance or support an idea.

2. Pay careful attention to the provided textbook pages.

3. Place in outline format with necessary summarizing explanations when needed. You will need multiple pages.

4. Write the notes with detail but as if you were teaching or developing a study guide for a friend. Make them understandable. Explain any vocabulary words that they might not understand in your own words.
