Step 2: Craft a two-page argumentative essay making a claim about one ethical issue concerning EMS. Examples include: informed/implied consent, patient autonomy or nonmaleficienc in the EMS field. Cite examples from case studies to argue for the relevance of professional codes of conduct within scope of practice and how important it is to follow those guidelines.

It must have the following elements:

• Paper is in MLA-style, with the Name, Teacher, Class and Date on the left margin and the title of the essay centered

• An introduction paragraph with at least 3-5 sentences explaining the claim.

• Body (paragraph numbers may vary) with at least 5 in text citations

• Conclusion paragraph (3-5 sentences) wrapping up the essay and reminding the reader of the key points in the essay.

• Include a Works cited page. Hint: use cite fast/MLA-style.
