Guidelines for Taking Exit Exams in the 4th Quarter of A.Y. 2021-2022

Depending on the program and exit exam course, exit exams will be conducted in two modes:

Mode 1: Onsite exit exam only

1. Students in the following programs can only take the exit exams onsite: ? BS in Industrial Engineering ? BS in Geology ? BS in Geological Science and Engineering ? BS in Electronics Engineering ? BS in Electrical Engineering ? BS in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering ? BS-MS in Civil Engineering ? BS-MS in Construction Engineering and Management ? BS-MS in Electronics Engineering ? BS-MS in Electrical Engineering ? Double Degree BS Civil Engineering- BS Environmental and Sanitary Engineering ? Double Degree BS Physics-BS Electrical Engineering ? Double Degree BS Physics-BS Electronics Engineering ? CBMES programs ? Comprehensive Exam of BS Architecture program (AR143X/AR143-1X)

2. Only fully vaccinated students shall be allowed entry to theMapua campus. The student shall email proof of complete vaccination to f2f_documents@mapua.edu.ph before the date of the exit exam.

3. Negative RT PCR test results shall not be honored. 4. Students who cannot take the exit exams onsite can just take the exit exams in

succeeding quarters, when they can already join the exams onsite. 5. For those who cannot take the exit exams this quarter, all prerequisites related to exit

exams will be waived for the 1st quarter of AY 2022-2023. However, CH138X cannot be waived with CH155P.

Mode 2: Onsite and online exit exams

1. Students in the following programs and courses can take the exit exams onsite or online: ? BS in Accountancy ? BS in Architecture ? BS in Interior Design ? BS in Mechanical Engineering ? Math exit exams (MATH147X, MATH148X) ? Physics exit exam (PHY13X)

2. For these programs and courses, no waiving of prerequisites related to exit exams will be allowed.

3. Only fully vaccinated students shall be allowed entry to the Mapua campus. The student shall email proof of complete vaccination to f2f_documents@mapua.edu.ph.

4. Negative RT PCR test results shall not be honored. 5. Students who cannot take the exit exams on-site due to valid reasons shall take the exit

exams online which will be proctored via Zoom or other similar platforms. Valid reasons (with supporting documents required) shall include the following:

? Currently abroad (except those traveling on leisure and vacation) ? Currently living outside and far from NCR with no available transportation modes

to and from Manila ? Not fully vaccinated (only on reasons of religious beliefs and serious medical

considerations) ? Other compelling and justifiable reasons, subject to evaluation and approval of

the dean of the school or chair of the department administering the exit exam Students who are eligible to take online exit exams shall send pertinent documents to the dean of the school or to the chair of the department. 6. Students who are currently living in the provinces are advised to make early arrangements of their travel in time for the scheduled exit examination. 7. Students currently enrolled under UOX shall take the Exit Exam online.
