The Graduate School of Social Work, Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa Ethiopia is recruiting for academic positions.  The graduate school was established in Sept, 2004 and has graduated its' first cohort of students with an MSW degree.  This program is a generalist practice program with a focus on community social work and development.  A PhD program was started this year.  (Check out the web page at:  ) Other plans are to develop a BSW program and a research center. 

Ethiopian Ministry of Education:  This is a salaried & full employment position under Ethiopian rules & regulations administered by the Ministry of Education.

REQUIREMENTS for applicants to the Ethiopian Ministry of Education funded academic position

PhD in social sciences

MSW (Master of Social Work Degree)

Commitment to at least 2 years in Addis Ababa subject to renewal at the end of 2 years by agreement of the Dean of the Graduate School of social Work, Addis Ababa University, the Ministry of Education, Ethiopia, and the applicant.
