Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your support of EMCORE products. This letter is to inform you of a product shipping box and labeling change that will be effective beginning January 1, 2014 for EMCORE lasers, optical receivers and photodiodes.

The new outside shipping box and adhesive label for these products will now have the EMCORE logo to replace the old Ortel corporate logo. Our new packaging will still contain a small "Genuine Ortel Technology" logo to reinforce our Ortel technology heritage. (see Appendix for graphic example)

During this transitional period, some shipments of lasers, receivers and photodiodes may contain a mixture of old and new packages and labels.
