Notes on the schedule of assets

1 Life Insurance policies need to be included in the schedule even if they have a nil value.

2 CETV means the Cash Equivalent Transfer Value.

You do not have to do a schedule of assets, but it can be a very helpful exercise for you and can help you explain your case to the Court. If your ex has a lawyer they will probably produce a document that looks a bit like this.

H / W refers to Husband / Wife but you can use A / R for Applicant / Respondent or some other abbreviation.

Wherever possible include account or policy numbers and state in the NOTES column where the figure comes from (their Form E, your Form E etc) and the date. If a figure is not agreed say so in the NOTES column, and include the alternative figure put forward.

The numbers in this document are made up, but hopefully give you some idea of how to complete the document.
