Character manifests itself as it upholds principles of morality and ethics and cooperates with school regulations. Character demonstrates the highest standards of honesty and reliability and it regularly shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others. A member of the NHS can be trusted. The student of character demonstrates cheerfulness, friendliness, poise, and stability, but may have to occasionally accept criticism willingly and graciously. While there are a multitude of traits that demonstrate good character, the National Honor Society of Harford Technical High School supports and recommends the use of a multi-faceted definition of character known as the 'Six Pillars of Character', which includes the qualities of respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Please list your teachers and classes from 2019-2020 school year.SubjectTeacherThe NHS sponsor will send a form to two of your teachers who will rate you on the "Six Pillars of Character" as listed above. You may choose a coach, classroom teacher, administrator, club sponsor, or guidance counselor for a recommendation. We will choose the other randomly.I would like a recommendation from this teacher: ____________________________________Service time is not to begin prior to the first day of summer vacation after the end of the 8th grade.SERVICEService is defined as those activities that are done on the behalf of others for which no compensation has been given.
