If a child brought a drawing to me and it was a huge potato head and a small body I wouldn't correct them. I'd say, 'Oh that's lovely, you've got a big smiley face, that's great'. If it was more directed teaching, a still life or a more observational drawing ... but I think you can accept what a child has drawn more than when they've been writing. ................
