Important: When replaying a clip using the Windows Media Player (WMP), WMP will initially display the clip in a partial-screen window. To do this, WMP scales the recorded image and, in the process, drops a large number of pixels, rendering a poor representation of the actual image. For proper display results, press the ALT and ENTER keys simultaneously to display the clip full screen in its proper quality (the ALT-ENTER key sequence is a toggle – press the keys again to return WMP to its original display mode.

How do I install and use the DGy Basic PC Player Software?
1. Open the CD which contains the DGy Basic PC Player software.
2. Double click on the DGy PC Player Software Setup icon. This will launch the customary InstallShield Wizard.
3. Follow the prompts to load the software onto your system.
4. Copy the Sample clips to a folder on your PC’s hard drive.
5. Launch Windows Media Player.
6. From the Media Player File, choose Open, then select All Files *.*. Then navigate to the folder which contains the sample clips.
7. Click on the file your want to replay. Click OK. If you receive a pop-up message stating that the Media Player does not recognize the file extension, choose the option to let Media Player attempt to play the clip anyway and click on the box to prevent this message box from being displayed again.
(We recommend using the latest versions of Media Player, version 9 or higher. This is downloadable freely at the Microsoft website).
8. The selected clip will load into Media Player and commence playback.
Please Note: The DGy Basic PC Player software supports the Windows Media Player slider
function of randomly traversing through a clip only when the Media Player is in Pause or
Stop modes.
