Priority Financial Aid Application Deadline - Monday, November 25, 2019

EFSC must receive the 2019-20 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and all other required documentation by 11/25/19 to notify students of eligibility prior to the Fee Due Date. Complete the FAFSA at using EFSC's school code of 001470 and monitor the Message Center in myEFSC and your student email for additional documentation requests. It can take the Department of Education 3-5 days to process a FAFSA before they send it to EFSC and some students must obtain documentation from the IRS that can

take up 10 days to receive, so apply ASAP! Use of the IRS Data Retrieval Tool within the FAFSA is highly recommended.

Pell Recalculation Date - Thursday, January 16, 2020 ***IMPORTANT!***

Only classes required for your current program of study at EFSC are included in determining enrollment levels for grants. REGISTRATION & FAFSA RECEIVED BY 01/16/20: If EFSC has received your FAFSA and you are registered for any part of term on 01/16/20, that enrollment will be used to recalculate your eligibility for Pell and state grants. Courses added after 01/16/20 are NOT included for Pell and state grants. You are encouraged to register for all classes by 01/16/20 to maximize eligibility for aid.

INITIAL REGISTRATION OR FAFSA RECEIVED AFTER 01/16/20: If you initially register after 01/16/20 OR EFSC receives your FAFSA after 01/16/20, EFSC will recalculate your Pell/state grants once you have registered for any part of term AND EFSC has received your FAFSA. Any classes added AFTER this time are NOT included for Pell and state grants. If you initially register after 01/16/20, you are encouraged to register for all of your classes in one registration session instead of registering over multiple days to maximize eligibility for aid. If you

are changing your major, do not register until your new major is reflected in myGPS.
