June in Review On June 7th residents boarded the Riverboat Discovery for their annual senior appreciation

day. Our residents helped fill the boat to capacity!

On June 13th our local cheese monger, Greg Trevino CCP, visited our residents and

presented a Cheese History 101 class with samples!

On June 14th we had Father's Day Floats & Poker for our residents to enjoy. It was a hot and

beautiful day to celebrate fathers!

On June 16th residents enjoyed our annual Father's Day BBQ out on our patio.

Things got a bit `knotty' for our residents on June 18th. A drive to the Knotty Shop for some ice cream was just what our residents needed!

On June 22nd Jenni Rosetti brought Max the Clydesdale for a visit with the residents. Max is

a true `gentle giant'.

Picnic It is `that' time again! Staff, residents, and their families are all invited to our annual picnic on July 18th from 5pm to 7pm. Come enjoy a delicious summer picnic spread including baked salmon, fried chicken, several sides, and cobbler! The Red Hackle Pipe Band will be performing at 6pm. Bring your appetite and spend the evening with your family and

friends at the Pioneer Home.
