December in a Nutshell December was busy, full of interesting and fun

activities, we had a house full of family members, friends, and new faces on a daily basis

& we wouldn't have it any other way!

Residents kicked off December trimming numerous trees, stringing lights and hanging

garlands The Fairbanks Native Association visited with

talented Potlach Dancers Residents enjoyed highlights such as piano and

violin recitals, and many Christmas carolers Residents took a night ride through town and

into the hills around Fairbanks to enjoy the festive lights

Residents decorated cookies, made crafts, gifts and cards with several community groups

Gingerbread House Contest Winner

Josephine Riley was voted `Best Overall' Gingerbread house! Congratulations Josephine!

Looking Ahead We have passed solstice and are back to gaining light in the interior. Scheduled events include a New Year's celebration and festive meal, The Suzuki Violin recital, & Martin Luther King, Jr.
