The man is Golden.

Randy C. Golden, that is: a native Gold Coast Floridian - Miami Beach born and reared, a University of Miami graduate with a BBA in Finance and a J.D. law degree, and a Miami-Dade County attorney for 39 years.

His professional legal affiliations have been both small and large firms, including Blackwell & Walker Law Firm from 1986 to 1992 in Miami. Randy also served as Miami-Dade County Traffic Court Magistrate from 2000 to 2002. With a specialty in Personal Injury, he moved his practice to Melbourne in February, 2012, and from active Rotary membership in the Miami area he joined our club on March 7th of that year. Randy is also a past President of the West Palm Beach Club. Within a few months of his installation Randy proposed his concept of the Rotary Club of Indialantic’ 1st Annual Poker Run. Almost immediately approved by the Board of Directors with Randy as chair, the February 16th event will support Brevard County homeless veterans and their families.

Both of Randy’s parents were entrepreneurs. His mother operated a company that imported and marketed Italian wicker handbags by Gladys Creations to major department stores and retail specialty shops.

Randy’s daughter, Jenifer Rainee Golden, presently Director of Operations for H & M Communications, a public relations from in Los Angeles, aspires to enter the world of entertainment, either in acting or hosting programs. She is an alumna of the University of Miami with a dual major in Broadcast Journalism and Theater Arts.

Perhaps daughter Jenifer comes by her interest in entertainment through family influence and talent. Randy says his special interests outside of work and family are theater, singing and dancing. He also mentions travel and motorcycling. Surprised, anyone?

Oh, yes, another Golden feature: Randy displays the Rotary International Four Way Test on his website.
