Plan N does not require a contribution.**Participants that enroll in Plan C or Plan N who are not eligible for an HSA or who prefer an HRA, may elect an HRA.Interesting: You can use HSA dollars for people 1) covered by your plan and 2) who are on your tax return. Example: If you are covering a 24-year child, but that child is no longer your legal dependent, then you cannot use HSA dollars for their health care expenses. However, you CAN use HRA dollars to reimburse you for approved medical expenses.Remember: HSA dollars accrue from year to year; An HRA is completely funded by the employer and leftover funds are lost if not used.
