This article addresses ethical and procedural duties of the criminal defense Bar to redress the errors on past and pending cases. New Duties Concerning Cross-Examination of Experts after Melindez-Diaz and Bullcoming v New Mexico. Since the Supreme Court has issued a trilogy of cases requiring the attendance of Experts at trial, there are new demands and techniques concerning the cross-examination of these experts.Race and Guns: The applicability of the Second Amendment to Black People and Equal protection of the Right to possess Guns. An examination of the extraordinary historical treatment of the denial of guns to Black people from the Black Codes forward.
