The Enlightenment Figures Most Wanted Poster

Directions:

Choose 1 of the following ‘Enlightenment Figures’: Hobbes, Locke, Voltaire, Beccaria, Jefferson, Montesquieu, Rousseau, or Wollstonecraft and create a ‘Most Wanted Poster’ based on the governmental beliefs of that figure.

You will have one day of research in-class and one day of project construction in-class to complete this project. All typing of information and picture gathering must be done on Thursday or it must be done at home.

In-Class Research Day: Tuesday, December 2

In the computer lab, research the needed information to complete the project (see rubric and notes page). Also, print out pictures and typed information that you want to display on your poster.

In-Class Work Day: Friday, December 5

You will have 1 day to work in-class on the project. At this time, you should be putting your researched information on the poster-board Mrs. Evans has provided. This will be your only day to work on these projects in-class. Bring all your supplies (typed information, pictures, etc).

Due Date: Monday, December 8

On the due date, the finished project will be turned-in. Work not turned-in on time will receive a 10% reduction of grade per day.
