Karen welcomed everyone and turned the meeting over John.

John started with the PIP which is being skipped this month. NANPA will take a look at the 2007 Performance Report and come up with this year’s PIP for the next call.

Two notices have been sent out regarding the NAS/PAS interface that will be brought up on 6/27/2008. In particular, a user’s login for both NAS & PAS must be the same. Call the Help Desk if you need something changed.

A link has been placed under the “NANPA Fast Track” area of the website for the Safety Valve Process Quick Sheet.

Complaints: NONE

Beth Sprague covered the Code Admin matrix.

Code conflict – 976 NXX was assigned for regular use incorrectly. NANPA was notified by the ILEC of the area and NANPA coordinated the effort and was able to change the service provider’s (not the ILEC) assignment. Going forward, all 976 NXXs have been doubled checked to ensure that they are not available for assignment in NAS. If an SP really wants a 976 NXX, they can contact NANPA and it will be worked out.

Nancy Fears covered the Other Resources matrix.

The NRUF matrix was covered by Al Cipparone.

Wayne Milby (Eastern) and Joe Cocke (Western) reported on the NPA Relief Planning activities.

Eastern Region:

For May 2008

• Eight performance measurements were due in May and they were all completed on time.

• We conducted customer surveys for two Industry conference calls during May. The average score for overall satisfaction with the meetings was 5.0 out of a maximum of 5.0 and the score for “NANPA conducted the calls impartially” was a 5.0 out of 5.0. Of the 31 attendees, 20 or 65% responded to the surveys.

• We responded to all voicemail and email messages within one business day.

• 5/9 – Submitted INC issue 587 in Initial Closure to revise NPA Relief Planning Guidelines to address posting a planning letter to the NANPA website 10 business days after regulatory change order is issued. More time allowed if an implementation meeting is required before PL is posted.

• 5/14 – IN 812 pending petition review call – Industry decided to postpone the filing again and reconvene approximately 30 days after publication of the October 2008 NRUF. The current exhaust date is 3Q2011.

• 5/22 – KY 270 Jeopardy status review call. Set aside code trigger tripped when set aside codes reached one available on April 30th.

Also shadowed the WV 304 subcommittee meeting on 5/20/08.

For June 2008

Shadowed the WV 304 subcommittee meeting on 6/17/08.

Western Region:

For May 08

• 5/7/08 - NANPA published PL-377 and PL-378 for CA 760 split and CA 818 Overlay respectively. Both within INC guideline time requirements.

• 5/8/08 – OK 918 NPA – NANPA filed with OCC relief petition for overlay as 1st choice, split as 2nd choice; posted the filing on NNS.

• 5/22/08 – CA 760 NPA – Per CPUC order requirements, NANPA issued press release for the 760-442 NPA split announcing the implementation schedule. Press release is on our website:

For June 08

• 6/10-11-12/08 – OR 541 NPA – NANPA posted on NNS the OPUC notice of first of eighteen public comment open house meetings for public input on 6/19 on the 541 NPA relief petition. Per OPUC request sent an additional email to SPs that had attended or were expected to attend the OR relief planning meetings to encourage SP participation at the meetings. Sent two additional similar notices on 6/11 & 12 for more meetings on 6/25 and 6/26.

• 06/08 – Prepared three INC issues and contributions to address Split Rate Centers, Test Numbers and Assignment of HNPAs.

• 6/12/08 – UT 801 NPA – Scheduled Jeopardy review meeting to reset set asides on June 26, 2008.

Also attended the subcommittee meetings for the NM 505, UT 801, CA 714, CA 760 and CA 818.

INC Update:

Besides the 3 issues mentioned above under the Western Region Relief Planning portion of these meeting minutes, there are no other new issues being brought to INC 100 next week. There are couple of active issues that deal with NANPA that are still being worked at INC. There should be a read-out after INC 100.

The next meeting is July 22nd @ 2pm Eastern.

Since there were no further questions or comments by the NOWG, the meeting was adjourned.
