All federal stimulus money received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 must be recorded in SAMII according to the following coding instructions:

The attached fund listing has been established on SAMII. ARRA funds must be deposited into these funds unless receipt is related to Unemployment Insurance or Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving funds.

Since the federal government is requiring extensive tracking and reporting of ARRA money, it is highly recommended that each agency establish additional codes such as reporting category, project, function or activity codes to further identify the receipts and disbursements.

Any correction to cash receipts must be accomplished through the use of the modifying CR document. The above information is essential to accurately track the receipt of stimulus money and will be used to update the State's accountability and transparency website.
