STEP 2: SHIPPING LABEL GENERATION

To reduce manual errors and save time, integrate your FedEx DG Ready solution with the new shipping label generation options now available in FedEx Web Services and FedEx Ship Manager Server.

STEP 3: OFFER PRE-VALIDATED SHIPMENT TO FEDEX

After completing required marking, labeling, and packaging requirements, your pre-validated DG or hazmat shipment is ready to ship.

After successful pre-validation, FedEx Web Services or FedEx Ship Manager Server receives preassigned tracking numbers from the FedEx DG Ready software solution.

Partial or Non-Integrated Workflow

STEP 1: INITIATE SHIPPING LABEL*

NOTE: Generating shipping labels by any method not capable of full FedEx DG Ready integration* will not achieve the error reduction or time savings achievable with the fully integrated workflow.

Create a shipment: Complete air waybill, Bill of Lading, or automated shipping label for your DG or hazmat shipment.

Select the appropriate special service option for your DG or hazmat shipment.

Note the tracking number (FedEx Express or FedEx Ground) or PRO number (FedEx Freight) needed for Step 2.

STEP 2: DG DECLARATION OR HAZMAT SHIPPING PAPER PRE-VALIDATION

To be notified of documentation errors and correct them before you ship, use a FedEx DG Ready software solution.
