Hope Helps, Inc. - Kids of Hope Enrichment Program

-Kids of HOPE bags are filled with easy to open, child friendly meals so

every student will have a nutritious lunch while they are home from school

during the summer.

-Volunteers will decorate bags will inspirational quotes, animals,

characters and other beautiful drawings to brighten the day of a child in

need.

Children¡¯s Hospital Volunteer Projects

-Projects will benefit patients at the

Children¡¯s Hospital.

-Projects include gender neutral

birthday banners for patient rooms,

birthday cards created to insert child

handprints of footprints, milestone

cards, friendship bracelets that help

keep kids connected to their siblings or

parents while separated by

hospitalization and aprons decorated

for patients, visitors and staff of

Children¡¯s.

Crisis Counselor ¨C Crisis Text Line

-Crisis Text Line is the free, 24/7 text line for people in

crisis in the United States. The service is powered by

volunteer Crisis Counselors who volunteer remotely.

-Volunteers go through a one-time online training and

then help to answer texts from people in crisis.

Assistance Dog in Training Door Pulls

-Dogs can only open certain kinds of doors. It is impossible for a dog

to twist a doorknob which is why door pulls are so important for

service animals.

-Volunteers will assist with making door pulls for therapy dogs in

training to practice learning this skill.

2020 Census

-The Census is more than a population count. It is an opportunity to

shape your community¡¯s future. The census provides critical data that

lawmakers, businesses, teachers and many others use to provide

daily services, products, and support for you and your community.

Through your social media channels, your voice can make a

difference.

-Volunteers will share interesting facts, hot-to guides to encourage

friends and family members to participate in the 2020 Census.

Operation Gratitude

-Operation Gratitude allows every American the opportunity to support

deployed troops, National Guardsmen, first responders and emergency

medical personnel.

-Volunteers will make a handmade paracord bracelets, knitted scarves or

letters to send our service men and women.

No Sew Fleece Blankets and Pillows

-Blankets provide comfort, safety, love, warmth and healing to our

patients.

-Pillows provide patients who have had upper abdominal or open-heart

surgery support and comfort to the incision area.
