John Long III was born about 1750 in Queen Ann's Co., MD. He patented a tract of land on a branch of Dunkard Creek under the title, Mt Joy which was on a warrant dated 14 December 1786. Deed book 2, page 322 1/2, Greene County shows that John Long and wife, Grace _____, sold a portion of Mt Joy. ................
