Fidelity Bank is Now Part of First Bancshares of Texas, Inc.

On March 1, 2019, Fidelity Bank became part of First Bancshares of Texas, Inc., the same holding company that owns FirstCapital Bank of Texas. Since then, the bank has continued to operate under the Fidelity Bank name while we complete the integration of systems and operations, scheduled to occur over the weekend of July 20, 2019. On Monday, July 22, we will open as FirstCapital Bank of Texas.

A Smooth Transition

The Fidelity Bank and FirstCapital Bank of Texas teams are both dedicated to putting our customers first, so we're working together and doing everything we can to ensure a smooth transition of your banking relationship. As a FirstCapital Bank of Texas customer, you'll have access to additional products and enhanced conveniences ? all from a bank that's been providing superior personalized service to your Texas neighbors for more than 20 years.

Through Friday, July 19, 2019, at 1 p.m.

Please continue to use your Fidelity Bank online and mobile banking services as you normally do through Friday, July 19 at 1 p.m. You will still be able to make inquiries on personal online banking after this time; however, you will no longer be able to conduct transactions after 1 p.m. Business Online Banking will no longer be accessible after this time.

Transition Weekend: Close of Business Friday, July 19 ? Sunday, July 21

Fidelity Bank branches will close at normal time on Friday, July 19 to begin the transition of your accounts to FirstCapital Bank of Texas. Branches with Saturday hours will be closed over the transition weekend. Over this weekend, you will be able to use your Fidelity Bank debit and ATM cards to make purchases and at Fidelity Bank ATMs until Sunday, July 21 (Note: ATM may be intermittently unavailable over the weekend). Beginning on Monday, July 22, you will be able to use your new FirstCapital Bank of Texas Visa? debit/ATM card. (Please destroy your old Fidelity card at that time.)
