The Position The position contributes to the work flow of the Laundry Department where linen are collected/sorted/washed/dried/ironed/packed and delivered to Wards and Departments.

Key Responsibilities 1. Ensure that during collection all soiled Linen are packed in Laundry Bags. 2. Count each and every Units linen separately and ensure that the right amount is

entered in the Laundry List. 3. Ensure that all Linen are weighed before entering the washers.

4. Ensure that every bundle of soiled Linen weight is recorded. 5. Ensure that all soiled Linen are sorted according to washing needs. 6. Load and unload linen coming in from participating Hospitals and Health Centres. 7. Ensure that all Linen and Laundry bags are dried. 8. Ensure that all Linen are sorted for further ironing or for dry folding. 9. Ensure that all Linen are ironed neatly isolating torn ones for mending and stained

ones for soaking and washing. 10. Ensure that Linen are packed according to wards and Departments. 11. Ensure that Linen are delivered to all wards and Departments ensuring that it matches

with the Laundry List brought by the washerman. 12. Ensure that during delivery the nurses or sister in charge cross check the List and verify

by signing the dispatch book. 13. Ensure that outside Hospital Linen are packed and cross check with list, awaiting

collection from outer Hospital.

Key Duties 1. Assists in internal planning and distribution of duties amongst the team appointed to them. 2. Prepare and serve a variety of meals such as Chinese, Indian and Fijian dishes and others as well as salads, soups, desserts, cereals etc. 3. Maintain a hygienic work station, clean utensils, equipment's, machines and working tools 4. Responsible for the general upkeep and the cleanliness of the kitchen 5. The Position The position oversees the daily operations of boiler according to approved Standard Operating Procedure provide security for the Boiler Room and equipment and assistances to all other sections.

Key Duties Participate in activities of personnel engaged in the operations and minor maintenance of CWM Hospital boiler and to include, operation of compressor, supply of hot water, receiving of fuel and etc. Receiving of all enquiries from internal and external customers via phone, walk in, etc. Co-ordinate planning and scheduling to distribution of steam and hot water. Ensure that the boiler House and its surrounding is kept neat, tidy and clean. Establish and maintain liaison with administration and professional staff regarding maintenance programs and other matters. Ensure daily requirements and functions of boiler is maintained and recorded. Ensure the implementation of O.H.S acts and regulations is observed at all times especially for internal and external customers. Check, record and report of fuel level of all fuel tanks. This includes prepare submission for fuel request for refill of tanks. To receive and record any breakdown calls or Job Sheet received regarding complaints, request for assistance or repairs. Ensure the secure of mechanical premises and property during all times. With associated skills, provide assistances. Perform other related task above from the above required by supervisor from time to time.
