Student Quick Guide: Submit a File to a Dropbox

Student Quick Guide: Submit a File to a DropboxQuite a few instructors use Dropboxes as part of their course. A Dropbox is a D2L file folder to which you upload your course work for your instructor to then review and grade. Navigate to the Dropbox area of your course in D2L. Click on the folder name to which you want to submit a file.Click the Add a File button to attach a document for submission to the dropbox. A new window will open. You will be prompted to select from My Computer, My Locker, or Group Locker. Most people upload from My Computer. Choose this option if your file is on your computer or a flash drive. Click Upload and navigate to/select the file you want to upload. Or, you can drag-and-drop the file into the drop area seen in the image below. After your file is uploaded, select Add to attach it to the dropbox. After your file is added, you will see your file underneath the Add a File button. If you’d like, enter comments to your instructor in the Comments box beneath your attached file; then click the Submit button to send your file to your instructor. Confirmation of your submission occurs on the next screen. You will also be emailed a Confirmation Email in D2L. Click the Done button to return to the dropbox folder list. ................
