The BAE Systems Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is an exciting program that delivers significant value to young professionals and our company. We achieve this value by offering accelerated early career work experiences and leadership development opportunities to highly qualified candidates who are selected to participate in this prestigious program. Our FLDP has been developing business leaders within BAE for over 40 years.

Our Program Mission

The mission of the Financial Leadership Development Program is to cultivate professionals within the Finance organization who are action-oriented, who will lead effective change, and who will promote innovation within BAE Systems.

The FLDP also places a strong emphasis on philanthropy and participation in charitable events through multiple community programs.

The FLDP is an exciting and challenging three-year development program for talented, high-performing individuals. It consists of three diverse one-year rotations, each with increasing responsibility. TheFLDPisdesigned to attract and retain highly motivated people who want to become the future leaders of BAE Systems.

Our Program History

Since its inception in 1971, the FLDP has evolved to become a source of leadership throughout the company.

The FLDP leadership team -- consisting of the Senior Vice President of Finance and his staff -- is dedicated to ensuring that the program fulfills its objective of developing the financial and business leaders of the future for BAE Systems.

More specifically, the program is

Each FLDP participant completes three designed to:
