GUARANTEED LOAN TRAINING - USDA-Farm Service Agency …

[Pages:1]GUARANTEED LOAN TRAINING

California will be providing its guaranteed lenders training on the Farm Service Agency's (FSA) new status reporting and loan closings automated system. The training will be held at four sites throughout the State.

Lenders may now submit their status reports (FSA-1980-41), default status reports (FSA-1980-44), and loan closings (FSA-1980-19) electronically to FSA. The data from these forms can be electronically submitted through the USDA Lender Interface Network Connection (LINC) system, which is connected to our Guaranteed Loan System (GLS). We believe lenders will find this new system for reporting loan statuses and loan closings very beneficial as data is submitted in real time, which saves mailing time, eliminates the possibility of lost documents, and reduces paper generation.

Topics covered in the training session include:

? Obtaining Your Level 2 E-Authentication ? Lender Access to USDA LINC website ? Electronic Submission of Status Reports ? Lender's Loan Closing Process ? Questions and Answers Session

Listed below are the dates, time, and location of our training sessions. If you would like to attend, please contact Farm Loan Specialist Jim J. Crean by phone at 530-792-5521 or by email at jim.crean@ca..
