Dear Kindergarten Families:

Welcome to Kindergarten at wolf Lake Elementary! I am looking forward to a great year filled with lots of new friends, adventures, and learning. This is an exciting year for parents as well. Your children are beginning their official journey to becoming life-long learners. Your child will grow socially and academically as well. I will be guiding them as they become readers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians. We will also be exploring Social Studies, technology and becoming more independent.

I am originally from New York but I have lived in the Ocoee/Apopka area for 28 years. I have 2 children, a daughter and a son. We also have 2 dogs, a cat, and some reptiles! I love to spend time outdoors, go camping, and have fun with my family. This is my 14th year teaching in an Orange County Public school. This will be my twelfth year teaching Kindergarten at Wolf Lake Elementary. I have experience teaching in the early childhood education field and exceptional student education.

I would like to invite you to "Kindergarten Meet 'n Greet" at the school. I will be calling to set up a 15 minute appointment for your family to come to the school to meet me. During this time you can address any questions or concerns that you may have about kindergarten and the year ahead.

Ms. Casisa's Kindergarten Supply List 2019-2020

Please do not label any of the supplies except for your child's backpack, binder, headphones and pocket folders. The rest of the supplies are shared items and will be used by the whole class! For the binder I will have a paper to slip in the front cover with your child's name and class. So please label it on the inside.

3 boxes 24 crayons 1 Pack of highlighters (Skinny) 1 pack of expo markers (Skinny)

12 Glue Sticks 1 red plastic pocket folder (the plastic folders will last longer, we use them

daily) 1 green plastic hole punched folder no prongs pocket folder

1 yellow plastic pocket folder 2-3 reams of copy paper

1 -1 ? binder with a clear pocket in front Sneakers for PE days (to be kept at home)

2 containers of disinfecting wipes Headphones no ear buds or Bluetooth, Please remember these will have to last

the whole school year. There are some nice ones on Amazon for $10.00 One time field trip fee $25.00 for the year (More info to come!) $12.00 one-time class T-shirt fee (More info to come!)
