Dear Community and Chamber Members:

On behalf of the 2019 Board of Directors, I am pleased to share the Houston Northwest Chamber's 2019 Membership Directory. Please take a moment and look through the directory and notice the various businesses that make up our Cypress Creek community.

I'm honored to serve as the Chair of the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce Board for 2019. In addition, I'm extremely grateful for the work of Tim Puthoff, 2018 Board Chair, and the many accomplishments achieved under his leadership. The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce has a rich history, founded in 1974 with the sole purpose of investing time, talent and resources in economic and community development programs and working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural fortitude of the region.

Now, 45 years later, our fundamental mission to develop successful businesses and a thriving community rings louder than ever as we embrace changes in the diversity within our community and businesses, while also seeing increases in the economic development of our catchment area. With over 700 members representing businesses of all sizes, now is the time for our community to come together to agree on the future of our Chamber by celebrating past accomplishments and reflecting on our individual and collective commitments to the future of both our Chamber and our community.

Our commitment to accountability, integrity, passion, business advocacy and service will continue to serve as the foundation of our Chamber's Core Values for many years to come. In 2018, the Board of Directors agreed, the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce would be the voice of the business, municipal, government and philanthropic entities of our community, fostering unity, growth and success. To that end, our 2019 strategic priorities include leadership development, recruitment and retention, program evaluation, and public policy and advocacy.

I believe our time is now! As our unincorporated community continues to grow in population, diversity and economic development, we must be ready to not only respond, but serve as the catalyst for change and growth, much like the original Chamber founders did in 1974. Our community is only as strong as our Chamber and our Chamber is only as strong as our community. Working together, all things are possible and our fundamental mission can be realized.
